截止8月13日晚，由吴京执导的电影《战狼2》累计票房已经突破45亿元人民币。根据国外BoxOfficeMojo票房数据显示，截止8月13日，全球票房历史总排名第100位的恰好是1994年上映的奥斯卡最佳影片《阿甘正传》，该片获得的票房为6.779亿美元（最新汇率下约合45.13亿元人民币）。如果算上《战狼2》在海外取得的数百万美元票房，《战狼2》全球总票房已经成功超越《阿甘正传》，跻身全球电影票房top100！（完整榜单见文末）

据悉，这也是亚洲电影首次入围该榜单，并一举打破了好莱坞电影对该榜的垄断，《战狼2》所取得的成绩对国产电影来说可谓是前无古人，而后有来者的难度也是极大的！另据国内票房统计机构的预测，《战狼2》的最终票房将达到恐怖的53亿元以上，一举将此前的国内票房冠军《美人鱼》（33.9亿元）甩开了近20个亿。而如果《战狼2》最终完成了这一票房壮举，那么其在全球电影票房top100榜单上的排名还将大幅跃升至60名左右，绝对是为国内电影从业者树立了一个超强的榜样和挑战目标。

而《战狼2》如此给力的票房表现，也让好莱坞们不无担心。据美国《福布斯》双周刊网站的消息，好莱坞担心中国如能产出与好莱坞大片同等票房规模的商业大片，那么产自好莱坞的商业大片在中国的吸引力将很有可能会下降，进而连锁反应影响到它们在中国的票房表现。
